I was looking for a good 8" chef's knife for my wife when I came across this set with multiple coupons.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FZJ5YCDS
It's a multi-layer VG10-level steel with rose wood and G10 handle.
The 3-piece set with 50% off coupon + extra 10% making it $64!
Includes 8" chef knife, 7" santoku knife, and 6" utility knife
I wonder how she will like the handle, but I love that multi-layer hammered steel blade. I have Myabi and Togiharu knives with VG10 blades. These should be fairly comparable with their 10cr15comov blades.
