Reviews are not great, but there aren't many 1-star reviews.
I see this price (on BS) but I don't see any in stock. You'd have to be doing a lot of soldering to make this worthwhile, even at $20.

I solder daily for my work. These are slightly quieter than the smaller 120mm koto units on Amazon, and while I'm sure they have more CFM, they don't feel like they pull as much air.
The stand is pretty bulky, the shroud on the intake is way too big for the static pressure they generate, and it's pretty difficult to get them close enough to the workpiece without being very much in the way on the desk.
If you're a weekend warrior and use randomly this is a great price but the better value is probably the smaller Koto (or similar) units. If you're looking for something for regular use at a dedicated workstation, get something with a small flexible duct - and ideally something that exhausts outside.
At the end of the day these carbon filter units just clear the smoke and then scatter/dilute the fumes into the air to minimize lung exposure. They don't "solve" the fume issue like extraction to the outdoors does.
