For a desktop with this performance, this is an outstanding value. Truly remarkable how cheap *great* computers have become.

This is a deal that's hard to beat. I was looking at picking up an inexpensive mini-PC by Minisforum or GMKTek but at $400 you'd have to be crazy to buy anything other than this. Nothing even comes close to the value proposition here.

Any successes with microcenter's price protection policy? I bought it for $450 just 2 weeks ago, would be awesome if I could get a price adjustment.

It's really simple. Just show them the receipt or email, they scan it and refund the difference. Just did that when my 9800X3D went from $440 to $400, then in a more complicated transaction I went in on day 15 (last day to refund a CPU) and bought the $200 G Skill RAM set they started offering this week, and they again gave me the combo pricing on that with no resistance.

Generally, the Mac Minis are their least popular Macs, most folks like a turn key solution when it comes to a computer, so MacBook Air would be their king, either way, this is great value for someone who likes to add their own peripherals themselves
