This is a deal that's hard to beat. I was looking at picking up an inexpensive mini-PC by Minisforum or GMKTek but at $400 you'd have to be crazy to buy anything other than this. Nothing even comes close to the value proposition here.

Fantastic deal. Probably clearing out inventory since M5 is coming likely in the next 4 months. It's a solid spec bump but maybe not good enough to ignore 30% off unless M5 comes with 512GB standard storage.

Then the 4th agent I spoke to finally was helpful and said they were able to initiate the refund and that I would get it in within 7-10 business days. However I still haven't gotten an email confirmation of that refund, even though she said I would.

Seems like you need to be lucky and get a competent agent in order to do this price match successfully. I'm still skeptical whether I will actually get the refund at this point, but I have screenshots at least.
Update: I did get the refund email, it took about 45 minutes from when they say it was initiated.

I bought the other day, just went to the store today and got the difference refunded. You just need the reciept, the card you paid with, and strangely you'll need to remove the Mac from your Find My account so that they can process it (can add it back after the refund has processed)
