For a desktop with this performance, this is an outstanding value. Truly remarkable how cheap *great* computers have become.

This is a deal that's hard to beat. I was looking at picking up an inexpensive mini-PC by Minisforum or GMKTek but at $400 you'd have to be crazy to buy anything other than this. Nothing even comes close to the value proposition here.

This Mac mini M4 deal stands out as a strong value for a compact macOS desktop, especially for everyday work, media, coding, and light creative use. The 16GB of memory and 256GB SSD are enough for many setups, and external Thunderbolt storage or an SSD upgrade can stretch it further. It also pairs well with existing monitors and peripherals, making it appealing for a DIY desktop setup. The main caveat is the small internal storage, which can feel tight for video work or large libraries, so it fits best when you are comfortable adding external storage.

They are no longer matching it, Went to a store it shows in stock in phoenix AZ showed it to them, They say its lower then their salable price. The customer reps even aren't even able to do it.
They get this error also at my BB but a manager was able to override it. Maybe try a different BB.

If it ran Windows. MacOS is worthless.
Good thing it can run windows!

Curious why you think MacOS is worthless though. I hate iOS, so not a fanboy, but I do think OSX is better than Windows.

Being somewhat of a Mac newbie, if I add one of these to my mini and get a second SSD, would Time Machine work with this new drive?
I just pay apple for increased iCloud storage and set-up my docs and desktop to be cloud based. Allows me to work between my iMac and MacBookAir seamlessly.
