Got this for $18 on Nov 10th. Wonder if it will return to that level again?

Fun little set, well worth $20. My toddler likes to change the calendar day, we've been using it to count down the days until Xmas, and learn numbers.

Your question was answered above, but yes. In fact, last time I saw the box they photoshopped it to make the number look agnostic, so nobody thinks it is limited to a single year without buying pieces or being creative.

Humm, didn't know that a number could appear agnostic.

However concerning changing the year, if you look closely at the bottom left side of the front of the box, there is a circular section which shows how you can piece together the yellow sections to change the numbers for every year.

Actually I have been quite surprised at the price volatility of this particular Lego set. When I tried to pick up another the next day, the price had increased to something like $21. It was only at $18 for something like one day. Then it kept climbing till it reached its listed price of $30. Then plunged briefly back down to $21 for a day. Then back to $30. As far as I can tell, there is absolutely no rhyme or reason for this random volatility. It's not even close to the Lunar New Year or the Dragon Boat festival. So I was only being somewhat facetious when I said "Wonder if it will return to that level again." But then again it wouldn't surprise me to see it at 50% off ($15) as we approach the Feb 17th Lunar New Year if they really want to sell a bunch of this particular Lego set.

My guess is that this is a closeout. I doubt the stock will make it till February.

If this were a closeout, why would they have raised the price to $30 just a little while ago? Also as this has a perpetual calendar and has been selling for several years, I wouldn't be surprised to see it offered a year from now and many years to come.
