1. The two 1.5Ah are plenty fine for 99% of people using it. This is not the combo/tool deal if you're a contractor or have a big job (not sure what that would be too much for this tool, but that's my thought)
2. $99 is good price.
My reasoning?
probably 12+ years ago I bought a DeWalt 20v drill w/2 1.5Ah batteries for $99. Today I still use that drill and batteries. Have DeWalt air pump that uses these batts also. No issues.
I also have M12 tools, including a drill... the ergonomics of the Dewalt drill is so much better than the M12 drill that I will often grab my old DeWalt drill instead of the much newer M12 drill.
I already have a dremel corded oscillating tool. Use it only a few times a year at most, corded is fine and will outlive me, that's for sure.
