Then don't. Why are you on deals specifically related to their products then. I'd add it to your New Year's resolution.

Not helpful. This is 10% off, which is a decent deal, and actually currently available. If you think there's currently better out there, share a link.
no one has a Time Machine, and for someone shipping for a Christmas gift, this saves $50 over wherever else they'd find it. If you wait 2 years, yeah, youd probably find a better deal, but that doesn't make this a bad deal.

Nintendo aren't making this bundle anymore. That's why all the retailers have been selling for this price, getting rid of the outdated stock.

The Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle is being treated as a solid current price for a hard to find package, especially since the bundle has been discontinued and remaining stock is being cleared out. The $449.99 tag is described as about 10 percent off, and the included game is expected to cost more on its own later. Cash back and gift card promos can push the effective price much lower, with some orders landing around the low 400s or even the 200s after rewards. The main hesitation is waiting for a future OLED version, though that likely means paying more and waiting longer.

  • Amazon Prime credit card and gift card promos can reduce the effective bundle cost substantially after taxes.

    Based_God101Based_God101

  • Amazon cash-back stacking with a Prime Store Card can bring the effective price down to roughly the low-$400s or less.

    qsubBased_God101

  • The bundle being discontinued can make the current $449.99 sell-through price feel like a temporary last-chance discount.

    ChrisBobsonEragorn

  • Buying now can shorten the wait time for a Switch 2 purchase while avoiding potential future price increases.

    tanman99Based_God101

  • The bundle is no longer being made, so availability may be limited to remaining stock at current retailers.

    ChrisBobsonEragorn

  • Waiting for an OLED Switch 2 with TMR joysticks is presented as a reason to skip this bundle entirely.

    fuzzyballzSpaceman6969

  • An OLED Switch 2 is expected to cost more, which can make the current bundle less appealing for buyers who want the newer model.

    DogAndPonySpaceman6969

  • Slower shipping associated with some promo strategies can reduce the practicality of the deal for time-sensitive gifting.

Thanks, snagged one for the wife. I was about to pull the trigger on the BB deal but guess I could use the Discover 5% CB on Amazon. Also got the PowerA Case on sale as well. Now I need a deal on a PS5 Pro for myself 😄

Side note kind of - it's been confirmed that this bundle is being discontinued so this is the last chance at a discount (for now...) on Mario Kart

JIC you're on the fence about getting a Switch 2 it has been confirmed the MK bundle is no longer in production. Also there market forces at play that point to a possible price INCREASE on the Switch 2. IMO there's no better time to jump on board than now.

Sure you can wait for the eventual Switch OLED, but if the Switch 2 itself is already this expensive how much more will an OLED be? It will likely never be cheaper than this. Especially with MKW included. And you'll have that much more useful time to enjoy it.

All just IMO

Where can I currently get a better deal? The 12 month no interest with the Prime card is also a selling point for me.
