This is an excellent tool for light use concrete drilling. Even with a 1in bit it goes through foundation blocks like butter when you let the tool do the work. Having run mine hard for some time, i am going to upgrade to a more powerful version because i will use it. This is powerful enough for most guys who aren't in the concrete business. With the right scraper (and a lot of batteries), it'll even scrape ice off your driveway

Lowe's had a version of this drill on clearance back in March, for $39.
It differed by having the 18V battery slide in from the front, vs. the back.

Agreed. This works great to pilot holes to drive tap cons screws to mount things onto concrete. It really does go through like butter vs using a regular hammer drill. If you need more than this you got to get a Hilti or Milwaukee Dry core drill for coring through concrete
