This is likely a mistake. The developer's own website mentions it is 42% off for the Switch 2 version. The eShop likely switched the Witcher 3 discount (lists 75% on developer's website but has 42% discount on eShop) with this game. Buy before they fix it.

Yes cross platform saves work but both versions have to be the same ..since the switch 2 is the ultimate version you would need the ultimate version on whatever else you're saving on .....you can't cross save ...base game with the ultimate edition

Never going to happen. Nintendo charges third party companies $15 per unit for just the game card and then there's the packaging charge on top of that.

Community Reviews

Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition on Switch 2 is being treated as an unusually cheap way to get the full game and Phantom Liberty, with strong praise for the story, exploration, voice acting, music, and seamless expansion content. It also stands out for portability, cross save support, and generally solid performance on Switch 2, especially for handheld play. The main caveat is storage, since the download is large and the 256GB internal memory fills fast. The price was also flagged as a Nintendo eShop pricing error that was later corrected, though purchases at the lower price were reportedly honored.

  • Switch 2 owners who want a handheld open-world RPG, because it runs well enough on the system and supports cross-save with other consoles.

    RepFree83Omegadeal20003supesLesterY

  • Players who want the full expansion included, because the Ultimate Edition bundles the DLC and the DLC alone has cost more on other platforms.

    daltodledtmReallynotnickScottyD83

  • Buyers who care about unusually low pricing, because this version has been far cheaper than comparable prices on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

    eclpse44daltoschlackAmusedStove7007

  • Exploration-focused players who like long story-driven games, because the world, voice acting, music, and quest choices reward sticking with it.

    ScottyD83GhosteSlickTerrier357

  • Players with limited Switch 2 storage, because the digital download uses about a quarter of the console's internal space.

    Enchodusspec2Enchodus

  • People expecting the expansion to be separately installable on another platform, because cross-save can be restricted unless the matching Ultimate content is owned there.

    gcforrealDaniolsFrederickF3178

  • Players who want the highest-end visuals and frame rate, because Switch 2 runs below Series X, PS5, and a strong PC.

    Omegadeal20003supes

  • Players who dislike lots of dialogue or slow story buildup, because the opening can take hours before the game's overall feel clicks.

Can only use it one. Save it for your most expensive purchase. I bought an OLED TV and Nintendo Switch 2 with mine. Wink20% back on $450 for S2 + Mario Kart and on an $800 for a 65" LG B4 OLED was killer.

I don't think he's talking about the 20% back with Pay in 4, rather, the 20% off Digital gaming which includes Nintendo and Sony, but not Microsoft. :/

I know there's a separate Microsoft 20% off with Paypal, but neither of my accounts had it Frown

Also, is it actually cheaper to buy this then it is to buy Phantom Liberty for Xbox? Geez...
