This is likely a mistake. The developer's own website mentions it is 42% off for the Switch 2 version. The eShop likely switched the Witcher 3 discount (lists 75% on developer's website but has 42% discount on eShop) with this game. Buy before they fix it.

Yes cross platform saves work but both versions have to be the same ..since the switch 2 is the ultimate version you would need the ultimate version on whatever else you're saving on .....you can't cross save ...base game with the ultimate edition

Never going to happen. Nintendo charges third party companies $15 per unit for just the game card and then there's the packaging charge on top of that.

I believe it's "cross save" so you can play it on the switch 2 and then pick up the save on your other consoles. So really the main benefit is the Switch 2 price is super cheap, and you can play handheld. However if you have a power PC, that's definitely gonna be the best performance, Switch 2 gets max 40 fps when docked and 30fps handheld. Still enjoyable, but PC is gonna have the best performance / visuals.

Lacks the fidelity and FPS of Series X, PS5, or PC. Outperforms PS4 and Steam Deck. Runs very well generally, but obviously you'll see better performance on the systems you mentioned. It's a matter of personal opinion whether the portability is important to you.

You had me sold until 30/40 fps. I'll just stick to the Series X and PC version since i bought the base game on Xbox for $10 when the game first came out and got all the hate lol, still haven't even played it.

Cheaper than the DLC on PlayStation. Definitely picked this up and nice to know it has cross play, though I don't have the DLC on the PS5.
