I am a fan of the OG version, but it depends on what you like. I do think the modern remakes make them a bit more enjoyable unless you are craving some old school nostalgia.

I started playing it again last night for the first time in 20 years. Sure the graphics are outdated but the characters, story, and game mechanics are so fun and iconic.

I might be bias because I played this when it came out back in the 90's but I find this one better than the Remake, I'm talking about the story, the way it goes seems to fit better than the way the remakes play out imo. but for under $7 bucks, it is a good play, I think I've seen it at less before but still really good, another good one is Final Fantasy Tactics, the one that was released recently, it is the original but enhanced for what I can tell, I have it on queue for playing it again on Switch, mind you I own them both on Ps1.

I like this story better than the one in the Remake, it just shouldn't have been touch, if they should do the Original with the Remake Visuals and the option of the New gameplay or the Classic. I'd buy that on pre-order without even thinking about it.
