The double is only $2 more. I bought both to see which one fits my needs better. From reviews these don't lock to the system, only friction hold if that matters to you. I'm using it just for the magnetic and the black background compared to the harbor freight silver ones

If they don't lock in they shouldn't call them pack out

Well its meant for their wall hanging things. So gravity keeps it locked. Basically it's not tight enough to be locked horizontally on a toolcase

Let us know what you think?

The HFT large square silver one (with I think 4 magnets underneath) looks really nice, and a good deal larger than even the 'large' Packout ones.

Then they have this long one: https://www.harborfreight.com/14-...56801.html

Sure they're more expensive, but you'd have to get multiples of the Packout ones to get the same footprint.

Construction of the packout looks way better

The circular HF ones are great in comparison.

The problem I have had with the HF ones was the magnet would come off as they aged. I would have to reglue them back on. The fit and finish of the Milwaukee ones are far superior to the HF ones.

It's quite a mess and a potential loss of not easily replaceable parts when you grab the bowl, the magnet gets left behind, and everything falls all over the floor. Cheap tools and things have their place, but I've learned my lesson the hard way.
