Crazy sweet specs! I think I would lead towards the Best Buy oled b5 48" for $550. Only 120hz and not sure how brightness compares but true blacks are on par. Thoughts

This 3rd Gen QD-OLED panel will blow the B5 away. The picture quality and specular highlights in both games and movies are significantly better than the B5. I would spring for the W version of this monitor that comes with speakers, custom heatsink and a 3-year burn-in warranty for just $100 more.

I have both, except I have the B4 its amazing, but you'll need the right setup for that large of a screen. I use it as a secondary monitor mounted above the MSI. but if you want to use the B5 as a primary, you need a deep desk which I have 30inch deep desk. Both are solid choices, and I have nothing bad to say about either

QD-OLED defeats the purpose of an OLED. Who wants milky black on a black screen. might as well get a LCD.

I would also recommend QD-OLED over WOLED because it has much clearer text (text fringing). I use 27" MSI QRX 360Hz QD-OLED for gaming and 27" Samsung 4k QD-OLED 240Hz for work, both are great. If you like 32" monitors this URX world be the best of both worlds.

WOLED almost always has significantly better black levels (especially in any ambient light) and (at least for the newest gen) text fringing is not an issue. Many report headaches and nausea from QD. QD typically has more vibrant colors

As I understand text fringing is completely solved on the newer LG OLED's that switch from RGWB to RGB subpixel layout. But that's no longer WOLED and it'll be available in 2026. These monitors are getting better and better every year so it's hard to keep up with all the details. So far I prefer QD-OLED, but once the new LG OLED becomes available they'll probably going to tip the scale again.
