Any deal on cellular version of this iPad? I have the third gen and want to buy the last iPad pro version with physical sim, and dual camera.

I just feel like the newer air models are way better value for similar money and have better specs. I mean who needs multiple cameras on the back of your iPad unless you're one of those people who takes pictures with your iPad. You know who you are....

i personally would take this pro with the M2 chip over an Air with a M3 chip. the 120hz display / more speakers is enough for me

Its sad that this isn't even mini-LED like the 12.9" pro of the same M2 gen. Price looks good on paper but recently we saw M3 ipad Air for $400 which is a much better deal. Similar screen and better chip. Pro has better speakers but is it worth spending $100 more and getting an older gen processor? I don't think so. And for those that screen quality absolutely matters, waiting on OLED M4 sale might be the way to go.
No pro-motion on the air

I thought it's 7 yr software support on average - therefore < 5 yrs left
Apple always guarantees fewer amount of years than they actually do with OS updates. I have the M1 Pro, and I am confident that they'll continue support until 2030, even if they won't official state it. Even then, using it only as a consumption device at that point will be fine.

Target was selling these for $480 back in October of 2024. I bought two. Crazy that the price is about the same now

Edit: 128 GB
When you bought it at that price in October 2024, it was slick; this tablet is almost four years old now. No one should be buying it at this price in December 2025. This tablet was released in 2022, and it is now 2026.
