Under federal law, no gift card can expire for 5 years. That should be enough for anybody.

Gift cards if purchased from California never expire (these ones don't expire, but not sure if that's just because I'm in CA or whether its their policy).

20% cash back at Duluth recently popped up on my Chase Offers. Will I get the 20% cb still since this purchase is going through duluthtrading.cashstar.com and not their normal site duluthtrading.com?

No, that is not how this works. You pay $75 for a $100 dollar gift card. You buy clothes in store, for whatever the price is after promotions (if applicable), and when they tell you the total is $90, you hand them this gift card and it covers the amount with a residual balance of $10 for your next shopping trip. If the total is $150, then you use all of the gift card and owe an additional $50 via cash, card, or other accepted payment method.
