I have a PS5 Pro with PSVR2 and a gaming PC with RTX 5080 and the adapter to use PSVR2 on my PC. Should I buy the PS5 version or the Steam version? Graphics might be better on PC but the haptics might be better on PS5?

I have same question. I have 9070xt and a regular ps5 whihc version is better

I watched some YouTube comparison clips and couldn't really see much difference between PC and PS5 Pro. I went with PS5 Pro since I didn't want to mess with PC settings to hit peak visuals. Plus, it is PS5 Pro enhanced

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am new to VR. Would steam VR be better than Quest 3 even if I'm going to use the quest 3 with steam VR? So that the game is running on my PC with 9060XT?

Yes. A modern, full-size PC GPU will easily outperform a two-year-old mobile GPU like the one in the Quest 3.

You can't go wrong with either. If you care more about better graphics and a more polished experience and don't mind being tethered by a cable, the PS5/PSVR2 is the better pick.

The PSVR 2 is missing features on PC. No HDR. No eye tracking. No headset haptics or adaptive trigger support. So, if any of that matters to you, PS5 would be the best way to go.

Steam doesn't have a good support of PSVR2 controllers. I'd choose PS5 version.
