I still don't think refurbished is a bad idea They might have fixed the power board issue.

Paired with their 3-year warranty and I think you're doing okay

I think so too, its just the price feels high to pay now and it maybe worth to wait a few more months for the s90f to reduce in price since new models will be announced in CES.

FYI, the MC 3 year warranty also includes screen and accident protection for more added comfort.

Heavily considering it since I really want an OLED. The power supply issues scare me. I also see some TVs on Woot! That have styrofoam smudging that's only visible when screen is off. What about those?

I'm also curious about those. What concerns me with the smudges is if it has rubbed off the reflective coating
