The Amazfit watch is not an Amazon product—it's made by Xiaomi (the company behind popular smartphones and the SU7 electric car). I've owned three Amazfit watches over the years, and I absolutely love them.
First, the battery life is incredible. My current watch is three years old, a single charge still lasts 3–4 weeks. I turned of the heart rate monitor. Even with heart rate tracking enabled, it easily gets 1.5 weeks. Charging just once a month is incredibly convenient.
Second, it's remarkably lightweight. I wear it all day (and night) and barely notice it's there—unlike the Apple Watch, which feels noticeably heavier on the wrist.
Also, it syncs seamlessly with my phone for steps, sleep tracking, phone calls, text messages, and notifications from social media and apps. It covers everything I need.
It's also 5 ATM water-resistant (rated for 50 meters). I wear it in the shower every day with 0 issues.
Best of all, it costs about a third (even a quarter with the discount) of the price of an Apple Watch. I'm extremely happy with my Amazfit watches!

Can you take calls on the watch? That's a function I find myself valuing. If I'm in the middle of something where my hands aren't free, it's great to be able to answer a call on my watch.

Yes, you can take calls on the Amazfit Bip 6. Unlike earlier versions of the Bip line that only provided call notifications, the Bip 6 features a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing you to answer and conduct phone calls directly from your wrist via Bluetooth.

Thanks. It wasn't clear on the product page. It's a feature that, on paper, I thought when would I ever use that? But, for me, if I actually get a phone call, that I want to answer, then it's probably important and/or time critical. I've had many times like washing dishes, working on cars, carrying groceries to the car, etc. where my hands are dirty or occupied and being able to take the call on my watch has been quite useful. It's usually a feature that's hard to find on these super budget smart watches.
I've been rocking the Amazfit Band 5 for about 6 years. Great app and I feel like I put the watch through hell. After 6 years the battery seems to be going to definitely looking to replace it. Battery still lasts 2-3 days which is absurd after 6 years. If the quality is the same across their products, I wouldn't consider anything else.
I've went through 2 Apple Watches in 3 years, both died due to the seals at the crown letting water in and the watch melting down. I maybe go swimming 4 or 5 times a year.... I ordered a new apple watch during the walmart cyber days deal, but somehow I just ordered a GPS instead of the intended Cellular version. After reading about this bip 6's, I ordered one from Best Buy two days ago and it showed up today. I'm loving it so far. Besides step tracking I mainly used it for locating my phone in the house. This watch can do that too which is super nice.
I did use the sleep tracking on the apple watch, but I think it led to sleep anxiety as my sleep quality has steadily declined since I started tracking it.
