It's fine but there is a lot of repetitiveness which I suppose is par for the course with this genre. There's a lot of grinding relationship points with the villagers primarily by cooking and hosting meals and this is how you unlock a lot of the features and upgrades.(more land, abilities, livestock etc)
After I finished I don't see myself coming back any time soon.
