I did, and was able to try it, but your saves won't transfer over... so don't go around spending a dozen hours on it like I did. lol

Started playing the first one before committing the money for the second. I hate the lack of a decent tutorial. Game mechanics felt clunky for a lot of the first one. Fun to play, but difficult to enjoy.



This should be a great game for someone who loves far cry, fallout, and elder scrolls. I'm sure I'll rage quit it at some point because I'm completely stuck or not strong enough to proceed.

From what I've seen, you don't need to play the first to enjoy the 2nd, and people have said you shouldn't even bother with the first... Just go straight to this and it's much better
