Gigabyte has not released the latest Intel DTT driver for this board, so you may not be able to benefit from the APO improvements in this platform yet. When I inquired, they told me to sit on my thumbs until their HQ feels like releasing it.

I am seeing the driver under downloads. Is this not the one you are referring to?

Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology (APO) Driver

I just bought this motherboard and there was an extra $72 coupon as well. brought the price down to $168 before tax. It's the cheapest I've seen this MB for the last 5 months, I think. It is a very decent MB for the price.

Fantastic board if you like both intel cpus and eatx. It's a lot of motherboard for the money!

That is not the latest version, APO will not run with that driver. Intel provides a base driver that Gigabyte needs to "customize" and release for their boards.

The "Failed To Connect" error you're encountering with the Application Optimization (APO) app seems to be a known issue related to the Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology (DTT) driver. The APO app has been updated in the Windows Store and now requires an updated DTT driver that has not yet been provided by motherboard manufacturers or OEMs. This mismatch between the app update and the driver availability is causing the connection failure.

Where did you find the coupon?[/QUOTE]It was on the page. I just checked marked it and that's it. Maybe it's a random coupon.

We will see a lot of motherboards price dropping due to RAM price increase, as the diy market will shrink sharply

Wonder how long we are going to be in this RAM shortage... can't remember the last time it was this bad...
