Unless duottes is known for their eMTBs, I'd be suspicious. 80Nm is like 4x the torque of a 20hp Yamaha XT250 dirt bike. The kinds of hills you need that kind of torque to climb mean you really, really need to trust the rest of the bike to keep you alive on the descent.

44 Nm is standard for those 1000w geared ELECTRIC hub MOTORS. This bike has 2000w.

With electric you gain oodles of torque at the cost of range.

Torque is why the geared hub motors have gears.....and not direct drive.

The stark Varg holds the record with 938 NM of torque.
Although it's not an ebike..but an electric motorbike that can beat the pants off a 500cc motorcross bike.

Order one three days ago, received confirmation email immediately. I received fedex tracking number yesterday that it was shipped. I checked the status today, Fedex shows the shipping was cancelled and Duotts website says there is a problem. Looks like the bike from this company is a scam.

Yes, 100 percent a scam, that lady Amy is a con artist. She got me to close the case with PayPal and assured me that the bike had been sent to FedEx, I stupidly believed her, today is the 31st and still no bike. They are running a good scam. Purchased the bike on the 19th. Now PayPal won't do anything cause I closed the claim.
