Community Reviews

This LOQ looks like a strong budget gaming laptop, with the RTX 5050 and i5-13450HX giving it enough headroom for current games and everyday use. The 17.3 inch IPS display is described as sharp and smooth, and the machine has been running games without issues. The unusual 12GB DDR5 memory gets attention because it is a nonstandard capacity, but it appears to be a real configuration and the system is expandable to 32GB. The main concern is value around that odd RAM setup and possible upgrade cost, making it a practical pick if the base specs fit your needs.

I saw the 12 GB of ram on another laptop. I had to go look it up myself, seems like they made them. https://www.microcenter.com/produ...46s5-black

12gb on a laptop with a dgpu is more usable than 16gb with an igpu (shared memory) for many tasks

Not for regular tasks. For example, If you need 14GB, you need 14GB. RAM is not the same as GPU.

Yeah. I don't know why people come up with these random rules. It seems like Lenovo went out of there way to save a few bucks and produce a non-standard laptop.Good luck to whoever splurges on this crap.

12 GB of RAM is really odd. Also, reading the "reviews" on the B&H website, I get the feeling that most of them are fake, or at the very least written by the same person.

It should have 2x SODIMM slots, with 8 GB and 4 GB, so 8 GB in dual-channel, 4 GB in single-channel:

You haven't been paying attention if you haven't seen laptops with 12 GB before, but it's usually something like soldered + SODIMM.

They really just threw some old parts together and made a laptop.

17.3" screen with a 13th Gen CPU and a RTX 5050...
