They announced a version that was supposedly able to be adjustable for flat or curved when this launched, using a flexible OLED screen. I guess they gave up on that version. I haven't heard anything about it since.

Sick deal. I'm sure there's been lower but this is the lowest I've seen. Have the 3440 version of this and will use that as my second monitor mounted above this one. Was able to have bestbuy price match for pickup tomorrow. Thanks OP!

It was $1500 with a $500 coupon code on the LG website a month ago. That made it $1000

I would beware of anything LG. Buy from costco if possible. My ultragear 39" started getting artifacts completely over the right side of the monitor. RMA to LG and they sent it back without fixing anything. When I asked for a replacement unit they said they couldn't because they never recieved mine even though the package had clearly been opened and the monitor removed and put back in. The protective Styrofoam around the monitor (not the outside near the cardboard box) was tore up even though I very carefully packaged it before I sent it out. I called costco and they said they didnt have any left in stock so all I could do is get a refund. I love the monitors performance when it works correctly but LG customer service is crap and they dont stand behind their products. QC must be crap too because my LG fridge crapped out while under warranty, parts were covered but labor was like half the price of a new fridge. Ended up getting a whirlpool. My Samsung washer and dryer I bought at the same time (I just bought a house) only had the dryer have issues and the fix was like $100.

Can anyone comment in regards to tandem OLED vs regular OLED and price and stuff? Im going to return my defective ultragear to costco as soon as I find something that works for me at a good deal.

Edit: for anyone wondering this is my first OLED and performance and picture is head and shoulders over other panel (when it works as intended).

My understanding is that the Tandem stuff will have better text legibility.

Most were, some were not, it was obviously a price mistake.
