Amazon has the WORST "like new". They are plantly used. If you buy other condition, it's heavily, very heavily used.
My experience (especially around Black Friday) - items listed as refurbished were absolutely new and never used. Stuff like kitchen gadgets, vacuums or headphones
Last time I purchased used appled product it was labeled as "Mint". Turns out it was swapped out with a older gen and banged up. Took forever to recevie a refund. Kept delaying and delaying.
Will give this a shot as I purchase 1 mic for same price.

It's luck of the draw, I've bought a decent amount of used - like new (the only rating I buy from Amazon) and I've received things that were brand new (Native Instruments A25) with just the outer packaging open to wet and moldy Rode lavalier microphones that must have fell behind something for a while. The DJI Action 5 I got was used (already activated) but otherwise in excellent condition. Same for the DJI OSMO Mobile 7P (activated but in like new condition).
I'd say you come out ahead most of the time if the deal is good, but people are sh**ty and do bad things like swap their stuff and return. You can't expect Amazon processing to be perfect and know Gen 1 of something vs Gen 2 of something.

I'd say you come out ahead most of the time if the deal is good, but people are sh**ty and do bad things like swap their stuff and return. You can't expect Amazon processing to be perfect and know Gen 1 of something vs Gen 2 of something.
