The Tapo C200 is a budget indoor pan and tilt camera with a strong app, local recording hub support, and built in AI for person, line crossing, and pet detection. It also fits well into the Tapo and Kasa ecosystem, with no subscription and Alexa or Google compatibility. Used units are the main risk here, since the like new condition has arrived with wrong or dirty items, and TP Link reportedly offers no warranty on used cameras. Hardware versions can also differ, affecting features and motor noise, so this is best for shoppers comfortable with resale uncertainty.
The Tapo ecosystem supports a local recording hub and can integrate with other systems like Alexa or Google.
The used purchase experience can be protected by Amazon returns when TP-Link warranty does not apply to used units.
The Tapo app provides built-in AI features for identifying people and detecting crossing lines or pets.
The camera can work outdoors under a porch or overhang for 3+ years with occasional viewpoint adjustments.
The "Like New" condition can arrive with unrelated items or with visible residue on the camera body.
TP-Link reportedly provides no warranty on used units, and a unit can stop working within the first week.
Pan/tilt tracking can drift from its return-to-home position and tracking can go wrong in windy conditions.
Different hardware versions can ship together, including differences in push notification options and pan/tilt motor noise.

TP-Link Tapo/Kasa has a large ecosystem, very inexpensive (vs. Anker Eufy), no subscription necessary and open to others systems like Alexa/Google (vs Amazon or Google Nest), and quite stable and consistent (vs Wyze which could go down any time and dying to be acquired).
