Community Reviews
The Ninja CREAMi Deluxe stands out as a fun way to make high protein, lower sugar frozen treats at home, from Frosty style chocolate bases to fruit, Dole whip, and even cottage cheese or Greek yogurt blends. The texture is the big draw, and the motor is described as strong enough to handle daily use, though loud. Practical tips help with results, like letting the pint sit before spinning and using hot water on the container sides. The main cautions are the prep work, ingredient cost, and some refurbished units failing or needing warranty help, so it suits tinkerers who want custom desserts.
Macro trackers making high-protein frozen desserts, because it can taste like a Frosty while delivering better protein and carb numbers.
People who want a daily low-sugar treat, because it can turn yogurt, milk, and fruit into a dessert with relatively low calories.
Home cooks who enjoy experimenting with mix-ins and base recipes, because it handles creative combinations like fruit, pudding, cottage cheese, and protein powder.
Families wanting an ice-cream alternative, because it can make shakes or frozen desserts from frozen bases when the texture is dialed in.
Shoppers who need a low-effort dessert maker, because it takes prep work and ingredient shopping before the frozen treat is ready.
People expecting a quiet countertop appliance, because the motor is strong and loud during use.
Buyers relying on a refurbished unit for trouble-free ownership, because one unit failed on the third use and another arrived dead after the return window.
People who want a plug-and-play recipe machine, because settings can vary between units and recipes may need adjustment.

If you buy whatever ricotta or whatnot that is on sale, it's pretty slick, and if you factor in that the ingredients can be healthy and won't land you in the hospital down the road, the price per quart is VERY slick.
I am about to try some really out there stuff like the black bean chocolate base?!? Woo ha! I am also convinced I can make dippin dots with the right mix of ricotta - I've accidentally come close a couple times already.

Nobody is eating a frosty to be healthy but this is a healthier version of it for people who track their macronutrients. Some of us enjoy a snack every now and then

jello pudding mix is cornstarch with some flavorings, emulsifiers, and sweeteners. Neither that or special milk is needed. they're just shortcuts. you can make the same thing on your own with "whole ingredients" and slightly more work
