This Microsoft Rewards movie and TV redemption is mainly appealing for holiday titles and a few standout picks, with The Penguin drawing the strongest praise as a rewatchable series. The redemption flow can be quicker through Rewards order history, where the Get Code link often appears before the email, and the confirmation link lets you choose the title after checkout. Delivery timing varies from minutes to a full 24 hours, and the offer has briefly shown as unavailable before working again. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is also available, and the Grinch option is the 1966 version.
The redemption flow can be completed by using Rewards redemption history or the "Get Code" link instead of waiting for email delivery.
The first redemption email can arrive within a couple minutes, enabling faster selection and redemption.
The Penguin redemption has been enjoyable so far, with multiple episodes watched and a rewatch-friendly ownership benefit.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation appears to be available for redemption even when it is not shown on the initial list.
Redemption email delivery can take up to 24 hours, which delays the confirmation link and selection step.
A redemption attempt can show "This item is currently unavailable," which can make the offer temporarily unusable.
Redeeming multiple times may trigger slower email delivery, with a second attempt taking the full 24 hours.
The Grinch option is the 1966 version rather than the 1996 version, which may not match expectations.

As a level 2 rewards member, I can redeem 5250 points for a $5 gift card, which means the movies each cost $2.38, for anyone wondering.
