For precision work (i.e. short sections of baseboard, stair risers, etc.) I still prefer a manual gun for control. This thing is best used to do 12-30 ft sections of baseboard in a matter of seconds. In fact, my biggest complaint is that even on speeds 1-3, you're shuffling along quite fast, and have to keep moving at an even pace to lay down a consistent bead.

I've only used settings 4-6 for laying down high-strength adhesive on things like retaining wall caps and stair treads. On setting 4 it will expel 10 oz of Loctite PL 3X in under 30 seconds.

Try doing 3 cases of cold urethane tubes in a new construction in winter.

Nah, try doing high strength construction adhesive on ~100 feet of retaining wall caps and get back to me. I'm stronger than most; I just choose to work smarter and faster.
