While I've never owned this set, from everything I have read, this is absolutely the best tool "set" to buy under $100.00. Totally different quality than the Husky or Kobalt sets that go on sale every year for $99.00. Not knocking those, I'm just saying that this Dewalt set is awesome!
I'm sure someone else out there knows, but I don't think this particular Dewalt set has dipped below $100.00 for about 10 years.

Looks like a really good deal! Historical low per ccc. Usual price is 170 though not 290. Good reviews on average as well.

Bought this set a couple years back. Really happy with it. It's got filler like any other kit, though probably less on average. Big and quite heavy, and not something that'll fit on a convenient work space (not while it's open, anyway). When on sale, it's a super balance of price vs completeness and quality. At this price, if you or somebody you know is in need of a mechanic's kit, this is it, chief.

Crazy deal, N42. Don't see this deal that often. Best set with the half inch driver, deep wells, and a solid case. This is what a mechanics set should be. Best post of the month IMO. Thanks OP.

Dang nice deal. I've never caught it this cheap. I bought one a few years back for around $150. In for one because I'm starting to lose pieces from my set I been meaning to replace. Figured by the time I replace them it would get up there in cost close to this.

Trying to fight the urge to order extra but in the back of my mind I know I don't need them. My only complaint is its heavy.

Looks like Amazon is matching Home Depots deal of the day. Will likely be gone tomorrow, so don't procrastinate on this, if you need it. Awesome deal, that rarely ever gets this low. 130 is the more common deal price.
