Edit: AI knows all. Both should be compatible if you own a Razer stand. Thinking about buying this since they don't sell the batteries separately.
Controller Gear and Razer Xbox chargers are essentially the same product, as Razer acquired Controller Gear, so the Razer Universal Quick Charging Stand is the evolved version of the original Controller Gear stand, offering similar design, magnetic contact charging, and compatibility with Xbox One and Series X|S controllers, with Razer adding matching color plates and slight tweaks, making the choice mostly about color preference or getting the newer model for better integration with special edition controllers.
Do you need more than 20 hours of run time on a single charge?
That's fine for day 1. But the issue is with these batteries constantly topping up on the charger stressing them. They'll drop capacity within a year and be in bad shape by year two. If they just made them bigger capacity, it wouldn't solve this issue, but they wouldn't be ewaste so quickly.
