Not much, unless you have a pixel phone.

My favorite feature is that the earphones listen for the "hey Google* voice command, even when you whisper it. No buttons to press, just your voice at any time. With other earphones I have to make myself loud for my phone to grab the "hey Google* command.

I also like that they're comfortable (for me) different ears will vary.

Thee are also not the loudest earphones. They max out for me at around 100+/- decibels. I've had to adjust my listening volume, but not too upset as the high volume of these match right around the start of dangerous noise levels. You could tell it's designed to not exceed dangerous decibels by much. Just wish they would have let us pick the limit in that regards so everyone has their personal choosing. Some people want them loud even if it damages their hearing over time.

Other than that, for the price they're pretty nice. Would not have purchased if I didn't own a pixel phone though. I'm sure there's something better out there for $100.

What makes these better than the many options for around $60 on Amazon?

User-replaceable case battery, so they can have a longer second life.

At home. My kids like the Soundcore P30i more than pixel buds. I got them for $20 few weeks ago.

You can say hey google on any earbud not just a $99 earbud.
I don't have these but i have
the original a series and the original picel buds pro and the pro 2 and all of them have low max volume, bad fit and limited sound customization. The dumb eq they provide does very little to help the audio. Doubt these are any different and all 3 now collect dust in my house. Ill also mention the charging case sucks it gets stained instantly and drains battery without being used and the anc does pretty much nothing. Def not worth $100 to say hey google lol

Who buys earbuds with resale in mind? Also, Google has been very well reviewed with their battery life in their earbuds. Not sure what you're talking about.

Wish target would sell at 99. They're selling at 109, where.... with 10% (from the gift card sale awhile back) is cheaper but not by much

I have to agree with them not fitting well. Specifically one of them always feels loose. I never had that problem with other brands.

Also you're right about the case draining when not in use.

I have the Pixel Pro 2 buds for reference.

I've been using these nearly daily since they were released. I have no complaints. ANC works pretty well for me and battery life fits my needs during exercise or listening to podcasts around the house. I would not have bought them if Google didn't give me a $100 coupon code with my Pixel 10, but overall I have been satisfied.

How well do these hold in place? My ears aren't too weird but I'm used to the ones that sit on the outside of the canal and mine tend to not fall off like that, but the ones I've used inside the ear canal are never as secure. Like my ears eject them.

Any tips ?

I really liked my original Pixel Buds, but I ended up not using them for about a year and the battery refuses to hold a charge now. I know that happens over time, but man... only a year was a bit disappointing...
