Any thoughts if these are better than the dr scholls or superfeet greens?

This is a brand i've seen at sporting goods stores and target for $20. Superfeet go for $60. I don't think they are nearly as good but for the price you can get 4 pairs.

Superfeet is best, but if these are not bad, then this price is pretty good.

My issue is all my shoes have non-removable insoles. Do I just rip them out?

To anyone suffering from PF, I can say that the best thing that I ever did was ditch the stiff insoles (including expensive prescribed custom molded orthotics) and go see a PT who is holistic and sports based. A few exercises/stretches per day instantly drastically improved, and eventually cured chronic PF for me.

almost all of them comes out with a firm tug. you might have to slowly peel off the stubborn ones that were glued on tightly.

These look like it's well made for PF. the heel cup could be deeper to provide more stability however.
BUT the biggest concern is sizing this for your needs. what insole can fit everyone between size 7-13? perhaps it'll be a decent fit for a size 10 +/- a half size?

While supportive footwear help, proper stretching/strengthening is the key. the worst cases will benefit from a night splint.

The best for my feet were prescribed orthotics. Went in and the doc made a foam impression of my foot and sent it out. Got my inserts a week later. Was in the Navy at the time so didnt have to pay the approx. $300, but they work. Still wearing them some 16 years later.

I'm glad it works for you, but I've been there, tried it, it both didn't solve the issues completely for me and also made my feet weaker. Everyone's different but I'd encourage anyone stuck with insoles to at least try a PT. Take it from a guy who was able to go from fairly hobbled to hiking 30 mile backpacking trips.

I suggest you get new ones or even try otc. They definitely wear out and get compressed. Also if you gain or lose weight your foot changes in shape

Are these good for someone with no feet problems but to make their shoes more comfy?

Everyone is different and a PT would best be able to look at your gait and recommend specific exercises. Mine consisted of:

- Foot/ankle stretches, before I get out of bed. Point feet up, down, left right
- Toe/arch stretch: flex big toe up, others down. Then big toe down, others up
- walk 50 ft on toes, then 50 feet on heels
- Forward lunge with a torso twist at the end. Walk across the room.
- walk sideways with a lunge - but instead of squatting on the lunge, cross one leg behind the other like you're walking sideways and do a one-leg-squat on the leg that stays in place. Alternate legs

Takes 5 min, 3x per day. I instantly felt better and was recovered after a few weeks.

In recent years if I get a flare up it's usually related to my calfs being too tight. Stretching them out with stair raises/stair calf dip stretches prevents it. And I still constantly do the "point big toe down, others up" stretch because it feels good.
