Shirt is definitely durable and decently heavy weight but it's rough on the skin. Not very comfortable imo.

It gets a lot softer after a few washes + getting used

These shirts will last you for years! This is my go to work shirt for working around the house, painting, or cleaning. They are heavy weight durable won't shrink in the wash.

It sounds like one of those terrible Gildan brand t-shirts they'd give out in school for activities or science fair.

the heather has polyester. I have one, it's fine to sleep/workout in and retains its shape. the cotton ones are better but don't retain their shape as well.

after trying their crafted series line heavyweight cotton shirt though i'm spoiled and all other carthartt shirts don't match up to it. I think it's almost as good as AG's

Not anymore. They've changed and wear out quick. Material thinner, weave is looser. My shirts from 6 or 8 mo ths ago are coming apart, collars going to crap and holes opening up everywhere. My shirts from 8 years ago still look great.

you can buy six Hanes for the same price.
even recently Hanes beefy cotton Tee, 8 bucks for two.
we all know Carhartt quality is not the same as it was even just 5 years ago.

I like that these run long so my gut doesn't hang out when I lift over my head and they make me feel better about being "only" an XL lol. (The sizing runs crazy large on these haha)

Carhartt is my go to daily shirt. You definitely get what you pay for in this situation. A $8 dollar shirt is 25% the thickness and wont last half the time a Carhartt will.

Interesting! I may have to try those.

Side not, this is a really nice color. I almost started to prefer these heathers over the 100% cotton. They hold up better with a lot of use and IMO feel more comfortable to wear. They have more flex than the 100% cotton and feel a tab bigger than the cotton. Or maybe they just don't shrink a hair from repeated washes. I find myself doing the fat guy shirt adjustments way less with the heather shirts vs the 100% cotton lol.

These are tiers above and beyond better than any T-shirt you can buy in a 6 pack from Walmart lol.

Dare i say this brand is a fat guy staple lol

Same lmao when I got one of these shirts I replaced my entire lineup of tees for work with them. Comfort colors is another nicely fitting (true to size) brand. If it's not comfort colors or these I just don't get it anymore.
