Good deal but I bought this last week and returned it the next day. It feels really flimsy and the plastic casing flexes when you squeeze it. Paid about double to get the wedge-shaped aluminum bodied Anker hub which also supplies power, but worth it.

It was on sale for $19 when I bought it. I had the silver version which lasted almost 10 years til the cable frayed at the plug after a decade of frequent unplugging

I bought this in Jan 15, 2021 because I needed a light USB Hub use it every day no problems or strangeness use it with my laptop and desktop. It is 100% plastic that is the selling point.
Wont scratch your 1k laptop with it's super scratch-able aluminum. I have to make sure anything aluminum in my bag is in it's own separate area not this. All the ports still pretty grippy.
Says in big letters charging not supported.. lol not true if you want super slow charging of your rechargable wireless keyboard / mouse it does that.
Usb flash drives work fine , installed many a windows 11 iso off this.
Buying another so I can just leave this in my bag lol.
