By its definition unless you were referring to the cut as it sits on the animal, any grocery store ham will be cured, the "uncured" one is just cured using celery - its the same chemical (nitrates) which get converted into nitrites.

Both are fully cooked. You can just slice it off the bone and eat like lunch meat.

As a Costco worker, I don't believe you. Unsold chickens (which is a rarity) get harvested and used in other deli items.
just told you what i saw. unless they harvested that yellow 44 gal trash bin.

as a customer, i dont believe you. left over (unsold) chicken in large quantity at the end of the day is very common.

Hrm... if some of the hams expire [1/1] before the promotion end date of 1/3, do you think they will keep selling them or have to legally toss/donate??? (so does that mean we have to get them b4 1/1 or they get cleared out by staff?...)(does anyone have different expiration dates? Stick Out Tongue)
It's a cured ham. Back in the 1700-1800 they would cure and smoke hams and let them sit in a pile of salt then hang them in a wooden box outside for months to years at a time. I think our modern cured ham a day or two over will be ok. Target also is very food safety oriented. We had a Target in our plaza the refrigerators went down for a couple hours. They threw all the refrigerator food away and hired armed guards to watch the dumpsters.

I got one that weighs 12 LB, with tag showing "use or freeze by 1/1/2026". How do you freeze it, slice by slice? I don't think I can put the whole 12 lb bag in freezer lol
I use mine for sandwiches. So I portion sandwich servings between layers of wax paper and then put into gallon freezer bags.

You can divide however is convenient for you to use. Pretty sure you can even freeze the whole ham. Then you'd probably have to use the whole thing pretty quickly after thawing(in the refrigerator).

Mine had a use/freeze by date of Jan 18. I already had another 10# ham that I was preparing to freeze also, lol.

Giant Eagle has been running spiral hams for $0.78/pound for a month, if you happen to have one nearby. A local Walmart also had some marked down but I don't remember the price because I've still got one in the fridge.
