I'm pretty much maxed out the 8gb on bf6. And I'm running 1080p. Yeah all these 8gb cards are gonna be obsolete quick. But times are tough and it's going to get worst in 2026 so if you need something now, grab one.

ya we're all frustrated by these 8GB cards and their prices but if you're working with a budget, it is what it is. I posted this because I haven't seen any 9060s at this price point lately, not as often as the 5060s, so sharing so people can choose between the two evils lol

Steam Machine from Valve is going to have 8GB VRAM, and memory prices are skyrocketing across the board, so I think for a lot of people 8GB is going to be the standard for a couple of years in the 1080p high/1440p low-medium. Unfortunate but given market conditions, don't think the 8GB wall is going away any time soon.

Nvidia already suggested selling video card without memory, considering the cost of video memory is too expensive.
