Vega graphics vs RDNA2.
The CPU is also a bit slower than the Z1 Extreme. Zen4 had some large performance gains. At 28W system-rated, this thing isn't pushing higher TDP on the APU either.
At the age of this machine, it really isn't a good value. Elevated prices on RAM and SSDs don't make this 5-year-old-architecture machine that great. For stripping its parts, perhaps, but the RAM and SSD part numbers may not be anything special either. I didn't see any manufacturer names, model numbers, or speeds listed.
Community Reviews
This mini PC is mainly attractive as a compact Windows box with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, and the bundled storage and memory make the price feel reasonable in a DRAM shortage. The Ryzen 7 7730U is repeatedly framed as older Zen 3 silicon, essentially a rebadged 5800U or 5825U, with Vega graphics that trail newer 780M based mini PCs by a wide margin. The hardware can still handle light use, home assistant, kids games, or a tower replacement, but it is not viewed as a strong gaming pick. There is also lingering caution around AceMagic support and past spyware concerns, with clean reinstall advice often suggested.
The RAM and SSD components can be valued near the deal price, making the remaining barebones portion feel less costly.
A coupon code reportedly works on this model, which can lower the effective cost for the 16GB variant.
The mini PC can be used for Windows software RAID pooling with StableBit DrivePool, which is described as a one-time purchase.
The system can be a practical replacement for a tower PC, including setups that connect to a monitor for everyday use.
The Ryzen 7 7730U is reportedly essentially a rebadged 5800U, which can limit performance expectations.
GPU performance may be insufficient for 1080p gaming, with Vega iGPU performance described as about half of a 780M-class chip.
AceMagic support reportedly can be slow, with refunds reportedly arriving only after a PayPal dispute.
Using USB as part of a software RAID setup can be risky, since USB is described as unstable for data integrity.

16GBACE7730U code still works for $32.90 off the 16GB version, brings it down to $296.10.
Sounds like a great idea!!!
- 4 year old 5825u rebadged as a 7000 series apu... 🤮
- Not a gaming apu like 6000 and REAL 7000 series apus... Especially for the price. 🤮
- 32gb is a waste on this apu. 🤦 ♂️
- If you are buying to harvest the RAM and SSD, you're overpaying and will end up with a non-usable mini pc as collateral. 🤦 ♂️
