On a side note, MSI uses different BIOS for their pre-builds despite the boards being the same as the retail offerings. There are ways to flash the retail BIOS on but it's harder at the software level. I did it with a chip programmer (CH431a).

Simply put, their pre-builds don't get as many BIOS updates for any security related issues while their retail boards are supported much longer. I bought a used MSI PC off eBay and found this out the hard way. This only comes into play when new features are released like ReBar and the BIOS for the pre-builds aren't updated any more to unlock those type of options.

Just a small tidbit !

Why would you need 16Gb on 5060Ti?

I get it's a refurb, but... isn't the RAM and GPU ~$900 new?
I'm no computer wizard but this kinda looks solid but that 90 day warranty is - sheesh.
For $120 you can add a three warranty via Amazon. [amazon.com]
Someone say this isn't a good idea so I can go to bed and not think about it anymore.

8 GB is a waste of money. For some games, such as Monster Hunter Rise, it delivers up to 50% lower performance compared to the 16gb version, which is only $50 more expensive.

Basically more flexibility for higher resolution monitors. Generally 8gb = 1080p while 16gb = 1440p.

Anyhow, similar to the IBUYPOWER deal at Walmart that was $900, new and not refurbished.

Anyhow, IBUYPOWER deal at Walmart with these specs is now $950, new and not refurbished.

8GB only good for 1080p, over that and the card will struggle with frame rates.

I don't think anyone said it was a bad deal, just not great. That card is known to struggle above 1080p and high graphic settings. If You are only playing 1080p, it maybe your deal.

I got the Walmart deal and am returning it. I can't even get it to post to the bios after 3 days. Not worth troubleshooting if that happened so quick
