Bought this monster last month and it's huge. It's a great speaker but wish i would've bought the 320 cause of its size. Pairs well with the wireless JBL mics for karaoke.

I bought one as well and I prefer this to 320. It is huge but both 320 and 520 requires wheels since you really can't carry it with one hand. I also had the 110 but that was too big in some occasions and too small in others. The perfect combo for me is the 520 and JBL Boombox

This is my first party box speaker from JBL and I almost went with the 720, I'm glad I didn't cause that speaker is even bigger.
I bought mine from Govx for $660 last month but since I used the deal from PayPal, got about 160 cash back which was a good deal. I also purchased a cover from Amazon which is nice since it holds all the cables and mics.

$600? When others just like it are selling for $60 at walmart... Unless you're looking to use this as a sidewalk hustle - save yourself the $
you are the guy that posts a $300 Windows laptop in a Macbook thread and proudly declares how you beat the system and got a laptop that is as good or better - stick to a $20 speaker since audio specifications and speaker performance hold no weight in your purchasing decisions

FYI YMMV Found the 120 at a Sierra for 199 unless you have a massive house or back yard the 120 will handle most family functions.

My dilemma is do I buy this or do I buy the 720? I want it to be battery operated and as obnoxiously bass heavy as possible. For tailgating and other things like that.

I know someone who brings their 320 to tailgates. He didn't plug it in and it was underwhelming with bass....

Hi Jonnie - can you share those deal details please? $199 is great for the 120 partybox! Thanks!

They said they get random stuff at times and this speaker and the smaller version was at the front of the store on clearance in the Chicago land area that's why I put YMMV since IDK how those are put in those store, for 199 can't wait for pool parties this year! Happy Finding
