This GTRACING gaming chair is mainly framed as a low cost tall person chair with a footrest and adjustable headrest, but the strongest praise is limited to basic comfort and long term use for lighter builds. Some chairs have held up for five years, still looking new, and can work for all day sitting, though armrests may wear out and need replacement. The main concerns are cheap construction, wobble, PU leather peeling or ripping, and a weak footrest. Fit and durability look better for younger or lighter users than for bigger adults.
Common Questions (5)
Some units have lasted about 5 years and still look new, with comfort remaining fine for all-day work. Other reports describe the chair as cheap, wobbly, or having PU leather that flakes, peels, or rips at the seams, so durability appears inconsistent.
It can work for lighter users and kids, but it is not a strong pick for bigger adults. One report says it should not be used by anyone over 200 lbs, and another says a 6'2", 222 lb user found the support and cushioning inadequate.
Yes. The PU leather is reported to start flaking after a few months, and similar GTRACING chairs are said to peel and rip at the seams over time.
A Dowinx chair on Amazon is suggested as a better similar option at a good price, and a Vertagear PL6800 is recommended for very tall or larger users if you want much higher durability and comfort.
The footrest is described as a weak point if someone sits on it, and a similar chair's seat does not move when reclining, which feels odd. That makes the recline/footrest setup seem less robust than the rest of the chair.
