It Takes Two is a standout co op adventure that shines as a partner or family game, especially at this price. The Friend Pass lets one owner play with someone who does not own the game, and it also works well when both players own it. The campaign is described as fun, casual enough to finish without much trouble, and a great fit for spouses, kids, or friends. It was also a free PlayStation Plus game before, so it is worth checking your library first.
The price can drop after logging in, which may make the checkout cost lower than the initial display.
Co-op can work even when a friend does not own the game by using a Friend Pass download.
The game supports casual co-op play that can be easy to beat together.
The game can be enjoyable for family co-op sessions with kids across multiple weekends.
The game was previously available as a free PS Plus title, so ownership checks can prevent duplicate purchases.
Co-op enjoyment depends on having someone to play with, since the strongest positive experiences center on shared sessions.
