Never understood the love for PEscience. It's just a whey/casein blend at probably double the price of either. And all the supposedly top-tier flavors I've tried completely miss the mark and taste so much worse than other brands. It's a bit baffling.

I agree with you about a lot of the flavors (the peanut butter cookie, milk and cookies, and frosted sugar cookie especially are bland) being hit/miss, though they do have outstanding chocolate and vanilla and a snickerdoodle flavor. Haven't tried any of the seasonal ones personally. As far as being 2x more expensive than both whey and casein, that statement doesn't actually make sense because whey concentrate, whey isolate, and micellar casein typically have very different prices because micellar casein (and whey iso compared to concentrate) are so much more expensive to produce than whey, so I'm not sure how to calculate a singular "whey / casein protein powder price" without busting out a graphing calculator

Fair enough; it's definitely an exaggeration the price is double. I still think it's overpriced for what it is though. I don't really buy into the fast/slow protein digestion, so I aim for < $.75/serving of protein for the most part.
