Good deal. Worth it if you have the Gen 1 AMS and need a better drying solution.

Thanks, I bought this. I've been eyeing this ever since it was announced and even the most early bird special pricing I saw was $100 so at ~$80 it seems like the best price ever.

I have a stand alone filament dryer but it is not convenient to pull something out of my AMS, put in the dryer for 6-8 hours and then put back into the AMS. I am probably just a bit too lazy but this will dry my 4 spools, and descendant packs all at once with a push of a button and will continue to work while I am printing. Thanks for posting the deal!

Can it work with P2S? Instead of buying their overpriced AMS2 in a combo.

Hmm, I just ordered a stand alone dryer but maybe I should cancel and upgrade to this instead.

So can I use this for the a1 and still multicolor print? Meaning, does it replace the ams lite that I use?

I was confused as other people. This seems to be an upgrade for the AMS (1st gen), not a standalone device. Meaning, you need an AMS for this to work.

If I already have an AMS 2 with my P1S and was looking for a separate dryer (so I can dry filaments while printing) is this a good deal? Seems like dryers alone are $20 for a single when on sale, so seems to be a good idea to dry four at a time even if not using the AMS. Curious if anyone else uses it for that.

So it doesn't work by itself?

This is only for gen 1 AMS. You swap the cover with this in order to have drying on the Gen 1 AMS(cannot control remotely but it does seem to work pretty well). The only electronics are standalone for independently drying the box.
I have one and had been holding out on a sale for another. Nice find!

No. You need to have the MAS to start with, then replace the cover with this heater
