I've never owned a crock pot . I've been seeing vids and easy recipes etc pop up on my feed and I think I want one. What does a multi cooker do or some of these other variants do that say a 20-30$ crockpot can't do. Any one have a recommendation for a first timer on these type of units?

Instapot is a modern pressure cooker (slow cooking fast!) and Crockpot is just a slow cooker.
