Been using a microcenter openbox Asrock 9070xt steel legend for just over 6 months, no complaints. I was honestly impressed with the build quality.
I was just happy to get away from Nvidia and that awful 12pin connector.

Microcenter is literally the only place on earth you can get a decent prices GPD and of course they don't have one anywhere near Seattle. In fact since Frys went out of business we don't have a single large computer chain other than best buy ANYWHERE in western WA.

Always disappointing for me when it's a Microcenter deal, but good for anyone who lives close enough!

There's nothing wrong with the 12vhp connector as long as you seat it proerly and don't bend the cable putting tension on it. use a 90 or 180 degree adapter to move to angle of the plug if you have to.

Cards with 2 HDMI is hard to find, I need one for TV, one for projector.

The DP to HDMI conversion adapter does not work well.

Rough ask for sure as DP 2.1 ports are, "in general", better than than HDMI 2.1 ports. If that is not enough many video cards with dual HDMI ports have trouble running both at the same time.

Really rough situation. I feel for you. I assume you have tried passive/active adapters and everything else. So good luck with the search. Older cards might be the only option.

Is this card worth it or wait for the sapphire nitro plus to come down to 700 again?

IMO, this is a much better deal than a Sapphire Nitro Plus @$700. The overclock isn't that significant.

Fwiw most 9070xt do not OC well. You get diminishing returns because at max you're getting 3-5% increase and even that is lottery.
Its actually undervolting that leads to better efficiency.
I did a bit of research before getting a steel legend 9070xt myself. Thank God. Its been a big upgrade from the 2080Ti.
