Bought four of these last week at this price. I had been waiting for them to drop a bit. They're pretty robust. The top shelf would have been too high for my use case, so I had four shelves and risers left over. I called the number on the instructions and asked for an extra set of feet. They said no problem and are shipping them out, so I'll be able to make five 4-shelf units instead.

The Greenmade 5 tier utility rack is a sturdy plastic storage rack that works well for garages, basements, sheds, and canned goods or tools. Assembly is easy, the shelves feel beefy, and the rack stays fairly stable with little wobble. It also fits one 27 gallon tote per slot, with five total if the top shelf is used. The main caveat is that bottom items can be awkward to reach, and the plastic build may not suit long term heavy storage or outdoor sun exposure. A practical, budget friendly storage option if the size works for your bins.

  • The in-store price drops to $24.99 after a $6 discount compared with $39.99 online pricing.

  • The rack can be assembled easily and stays sturdy after setup.

    ultimatewarrior

  • The plastic shelves can handle heavy loads in real setup, including a reported 180 lb hold during testing.

    Eragorn

  • The rack can work well for garage and basement storage, with minimal wobble reported during everyday use.

    DreadPirateWesley

  • Accessing items from the bottom tier can become a pain during regular use.

    Eragorn

  • A 27-gallon tub likely will not fit well because the bin width is narrower than the tub's 20.5-inch dimension.

    NervousClub775

  • Plastic shelves may bow over time, and metal shelving is preferred for long-term heavy storage.

    mickeman

  • The rack may be indoor-only because UV stabilization is doubtful for outdoor exposure.

I just bought it at $29.99 yesterday in-store, and set it up. It is ideal for a storage unit and I'm impressed how sturdy and high-quality it is. I'm going back for another.

Does the 27 gallon fit in this thing nicely?
The Costco one does. They place these right next to them in the home improvement/storage area of the store. One weird side note, 27 gallons is not universal. The Home Depot ones are the same capacity, but as wide (so the longest measurement is smaller, and then height measurement is bigger). So Costco ones won't stack on top of the HD ones.

These are a deal, I've also bought 5 and turned them into 4 shelves by putting another shelf layer on top. Works quite well, depending on what you are storing in them should be fine.

I think I have 6 of these, now. I am wary of plastic shelving and the sagging that may occur due to weight, however these things are beefy. I use them for a ton of canned goods and food, I use them in my garage to hold toolboxes, air compressors, lawn mowers, and hiking gear and I use them for general basement storage for unused bedding, Christmas supplies, etc. They're awesome and they don't wobble (much), so I'm not afraid of the kids pulling it over when getting their shoes. Recommended.

Yes. I tested it in store. Fits 1 in each slot so 5 max if you put one on the top shelf too

Oh nevermind.. going thru the link it's $35, then there's like -$10 discount if you make a purchase $35 and up.. then if you choose shipping option for certain days it's -$2, that's about the tip you will pay. for a $26 item.
