Easily one of the best PS4/5 games to date. Crazy to think that it was selling pretty regularly for only $10-20 shortly after its PS4 release (thanks, biggots). Glad the show has drawn people to the game. It's absolutely worth this price. As another poster mentioned, you can also upgrade the PS4 version for $10.

Just finished the game yesterday.It was one of the best experiences I've had in gaming imo, right up there with other pieces like RDR2 for me. I'm conflicted on the ending, but it was a thrilling and I couldn't put it down

With PS5 6-year into life cycle, we are closer than ever to a PS6, and then we shall finally witness The Last of Us Part II: Remaster+, or whatever Sony wants to call it

Solid 8/10 game, but it's nowhere near as good as the first which is a 10/10. Certain parts of the game are fantastic, but others aren't. The game direction definitely holds it back with how things are written, and the ending is straight up not good and woulda been better if it had ended 3-4 hours sooner because it takes away from the game rather than adding to it.

Part One ended brilliantly by leaving it open ended and for the player to decide the morality if it all, but this one gives a clean cut ending which I find to be far less intriguing and worse than if they had ended it before the final section.

I've replayed the first multiple times over the years, but it's extremely unlikely I'll ever play this one again.

Great graphics, tight combat, trash story. It disrespects the original, lies in its marketing, forces you to empathize with characters you didn't ask for, drags on forever, and mistakes misery for depth. Almost no game play evolution, zero player agency, and once you finish it, you never want to touch it again.
TL;DR: looks amazing, plays fine, feels bad hard pass unless it's dirt cheap, sub $20. Can't wait till woke Neil Druckmann retires.
