This seems to be hollow/tubular steel, assembled with nuts and bolts. Seems very flimsy. Several reviews and pictures show bars that have bent/broken/sagged after about 300 pounds.
Get one that is solid steel and is welded together. (no tubular steel or nuts and bolts). Don't cheap out on gym safety. Would you buy a Barbell that is hollow, and do bench presses? I think not. Same goes for a trap bar, needs to hold up to heavy loads.
I use this almost daily and love it, but it's just a little awkward to store. I haven't had to tighten the bolts in 2 years, they're very solid. No creaking or flexing well into the 300# range. I wouldn't recommend dropping it because it would bounce unpredictably, but that's what regular DL/powerbars are for.
Also makes a nice set of parallettes for pushups, wide-grip bent rows, and even really awkward (light!) extended ROM bench press are all doable. I also get creative with things like plyo jumps or power squats, which I would never do with a straight bar.
I think I paid $75 (just post-covid) and that seemed decent at the time.
Have this in black. Paid about the same a few years ago. Definitely solid. Super awkward to store. If you have the ability to store it above you (mine is in my basement so I attached some hooks to the rafters/floorboards), do it.
This trap bar goes for $50 sometimes, it's smaller, stands up for plate loading. This is my third trap bar, I've had the one posted (won't allow plate loading) and is huge, and the very minimal closed bar by CAP and that also sucks for loading. This is the one worth waiting for, unless you keep it loaded and don't change weights. Loading makes these suck real quick, especially with a few 45s each side. If you search you'll see previous sales and commentators talking about this. Sorry to thread crap, it took me 3 bars to find this one, hopefully save someone the trouble. May want to check Temu, etc or wait for Walmart, goes on sale monthly or so.

But like other's said, get an open trap bar. If you wait long enough, one will pop up on Walmart for similar pricing. Don't by a hollow one, with nuts and bolts, that is a closed bar.
Something like this will show up for like 50 bucks if you wait long enough. Walmart puts this kind of stuff on sale constantly. Just hold out a bit and wait.
